Otherwise, it resolves to No.

Confirmation occurs when any of the following becomes public: (i) the relevant securities regulator approves or clears the offering filing; (ii) the company or underwriters publish the final offering price and share count; or (iii) the exchange grants unconditional listing approval. Conditional approval qualifies only once all conditions are publicly confirmed as satisfied. Trading need not begin by the deadline. Filings, confidential submissions, proposed price ranges, ticker reservations, or statements of intent alone do not qualify. SPAC transactions, reverse mergers, private placements, resale-only direct listings, or offerings solely of debt, preferred shares, or depositary receipts do not qualify. Prior public trading of the issuer’s common equity disqualifies the offering.

Later delay, withdrawal, or cancellation does not reverse a qualifying confirmation. Evidence or corrections published within 7 days after the deadline may be used to determine whether the criteria were satisfied by the deadline.

Source priority is: regulator, company, exchange, underwriters. If official sources do not establish a necessary fact, two independent reputable news organizations may do so, provided there is no material contradiction. Rumors do not qualify.

Deadline Based

UFC Contest Winner

Sports

This MMA market has two sides, Participant A and Participant B. It resolves to 0.5 if the Contest Result is a draw, no contest, records no winner, names an unlisted winner, or is not established by Resolution Deadline, UTC.

If the Counted Play is not completed, an administrative or rules-based result, including abandonment, walkover, forfeit, disqualification, or retirement, is the Contest Result. A completed bout is resolved solely on its recorded result.

A postponed, suspended, rescheduled, or replayed bout between the same participants at the same event remains the Contest, subject to the same resolution deadline.

The result is established by Primary Source, or failing that, by a clear consensus of independent reputable reporting available by the resolution deadline. The Contest Result is fixed as Primary Source records it one hour after first publishing the result, or at the resolution deadline if earlier or if resolution relies on reporting. Later appeals, corrections, reversals, or reassignments do not change the result.

Contest Duration

NFL Game Winner

Sports

Each football game market has one named outcome for each listed team. If the game is not completed, an official result recorded by ESPN following a forfeit, abandonment, disqualification, or other rules-based or administrative decision will determine the winner.

If the Game Result is a tie, no contest, or otherwise records no winner, the market resolves to 0.5. A postponed, suspended, or rescheduled game between the same teams in the same NFL season remains the same market. If no result is established by the applicable resolution deadline, the market resolves to 0.5.

The Game Result is final one hour after ESPN first records the game as complete or otherwise publishes an official result. The market resolves to the team ESPN records as the winner at the end of regulation time, including stoppage time.

The Game Result includes regulation time and stoppage time only. Extra time, penalty shootouts, or any other tiebreak procedure are disregarded, even if they determine which team advances or is treated as the overall winner of the match.

If the score is tied at the end of regulation time, including stoppage time, the market resolves to 0.5.

If the game is not completed, an official result recorded by ESPN following a forfeit, abandonment, disqualification, or other rules-based or administrative decision will determine the winner.

A postponed, suspended, or rescheduled game between the same teams in the same competition remains the same market. Subsequent appeals, corrections, reversals, or reassignments do not change the resolution.

Game Duration

MLB Championship Winner

Sports

This baseball market has one named outcome per listed participant in the 2026 MLB Championship (the "Tournament") plus the fallback. Exactly one outcome resolves to Yes; every other outcome resolves to No. The Tournament Result is the final result of the Tournament, including every contest, period, and tiebreak procedure that MLB treats as part of the Tournament, as determined under the source rules below. A named outcome resolves to Yes if the Tournament Result names the corresponding participant the sole winner. A named outcome resolves to No once MLB's record shows that the corresponding participant can no longer win the Tournament under its rules, including upon elimination from the Tournament. A named outcome that has resolved to No is final and is not affected by any later change in MLB's record, including reinstatement of the corresponding participant. If any part of the Tournament is postponed, delayed, suspended, or rescheduled, the Tournament as ultimately completed applies if completed by Nov 10, 2026, 12:00 AM UTC.

If MLB names a listed participant whose outcome has not already resolved to No the sole winner without a completed Tournament, including but not limited to a decision following abandonment, walkover, forfeit, disqualification, or withdrawal, that participant's outcome resolves to Yes. The fallback resolves to Yes and every named outcome not already resolved resolves to No if the Tournament Result records no winner, names co-winners, names anyone other than a listed participant the winner, names a participant whose outcome has already resolved to No, or is not established by Nov 10, 2026, 12:00 AM UTC. The fallback resolves to Yes via a named outcome called No winner that is registered after every other named outcome has resolved to No. A result or status is established when MLB publishes it or, failing that by Nov 10, 2026, 12:00 AM UTC, when a clear consensus of independent reputable reporting available by that deadline supports it; otherwise it is not established. The Tournament Result is fixed as MLB's record stands one hour after MLB first publishes on any official channel the final result of the Tournament or a winner by decision, or at Nov 10, 2026, 12:00 AM UTC if earlier or if it rests on reporting; later appeals, corrections, reversals, or reassignments do not change it. A postponed, suspended, or rescheduled game between the same teams in the same MLB season remains the same market. ## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.trade.xyz/events/specification-index.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
