# Hong Kong

#### **External Coverage**

For Hong Kong-listed equities, the Relayer derives external prices during market open trading sessions (HKT / UTC+8):

* **Morning Session:** 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM HKT
* **Afternoon Session:** 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM HKT

#### **Internal Pricing**

Internal pricing applies outside of the market open sessions, including:

* **Lunch Break:** 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM HKT
* **Market Closed:** 4:00 PM – 9:30 AM HKT
* **Weekends and** [**exchange holidays**](/consolidated-resources/holiday-closures.md)

#### **FX Conversion**

The relayer aggregates executable quotes for HKD-denominated instruments alongside real-time [USD/HKD](https://app.pyth.com/explore/FX.USD%2FHKD) FX rates. To maintain consistency with XYZ’s linear contract structure, which is margined and settled exclusively in USDC, the system automatically converts these quotes into USD pricing. This ensures a seamless trading experience and eliminates currency friction for users.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.trade.xyz/asset-directory/stocks/hong-kong.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
